Good Habit Vs Bad Habit

It is not possible that we always make good habits in life. You always have got happiness or success from your every habit and daily routine. This is not possible even for great saints and mahatmas. Many times, we have to face many difficulties due to bad habits and it is not easy to get rid of them. Today we will talk about how we can make good habits very important for ourselves and at the same time we can make bad habits very difficult. It may sound a bit strange to hear but it is possible and necessary. Sometimes our negative behavior or bad habit becomes so regular that we do it without thinking. Over time these bad habits become a hindrance, take us down, fall, and make us believe that they are not good for us. With this thought, we get restless to get rid of it soon and make all efforts to leave or change them.

First of all, we must have the inspiration or motivation to change. This will not happen unless we change our thinking or attitude. We have to be inspired to do things differently. To break the habit or to change it. Of course, we have to do things in a new way or by adopting a new approach to bring changes in ourselves. A very good example is given in Atomic habit, when a famous writer had to write a book in less time and when he could not do it. So, he found a way to escape his habit of procrastination. He locked all the clothes in a big box except one woolen cloth worn outside the house. Now because there were no clothes to go out, they remained locked in their house. And stayed inside the whole winter and wrote the entire book. By the time the weather changed, his entire book was completed and printed. Isn’t it a unique example? This shows that every time a good habit does not have to be governed, sometimes it works by making a bad habit very difficult. This is a choice in which you can limit your future behaviors.

There are many examples of athletes leaving their wallets at home while going out so that they don’t have money when they want to eat useless things. You benefit a lot from this type of control. All you have to do is change your bad habit by making it difficult in such a way that you have to work harder to do it. After feeling like this, the desire to do it will automatically start decreasing. Also took steps to make your good habit mandatory for example, if you want to make a fit body, then give money to the trainer in the gym in advance, you can do the same thing for learning new skills or languages. By making an advance payment, the urge to do this work will increase inside you. Now when you have given money for that work, then you have to do it and there is no other option. Try automatizing some of your habits, like if you’re interested in a newspaper or a magazine So take its annual subscription, now it will reach you without any delay. You can do the same thing with your fruits and vegetables. You will not have to work hard again and again in these works and they will continue to be done smoothly on their own. So, you have seen how important can be some approaches to make your bad habits difficult and make good habits easier. You know saying no to the wrong things is making space for saying yes to the right things.
